Job summary

GCI, Inc. is seeking a Software Developer SME (Systems Software) in McLean, VA, to automate Adobe CC workflows. You will develop scripts for InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, troubleshoot updates, and document architecture and testing plans.

The role requires a US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance, with responsibilities spanning development, testing, and production support for mission-critical automation solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and maintaining automation scripts for Adobe Creative Cloud applications (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Experience with Adobe UXP, CEP, or other Adobe extensibility technologies.
• Ability to develop, modify, debug, test, document, and maintain production-quality Adobe scripts.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, debug, test, document, and maintain production-quality Adobe scripts.
• Automate complex production workflows involving document creation, graphics/asset manipulation, file processing, and document export.
• Troubleshoot scripts after Adobe CC updates or OS changes, and assess impact of version changes on automation.
• Create technical documentation describing script architecture, dependencies, installation, operation, and limitations.
• Develop test cases and conduct functional and regression testing.
• Manage project priorities and tasks to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality.
