Job summary

Manhatta, perched sixty stories above Lower Manhattan, is seeking a Polisher to join our Kitchen team. You will maintain, organize, and stock china, glass, silver and linens for service, supporting the overall operation with calm efficiency.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with kitchen and service staff, keep stations stocked, and help create a welcoming, hospitable dining experience for guests in a high-volume, full-service setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant support role within a full-service restaurant preferred, but not required.
• English fluency and additional languages preferred, but not required.
• Ability to stand or walk long periods of time.
• Ability to balance & carry multiple plates, glass racks and/or glasses, and lift objects up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a willingness to support all team members with multitasking while maintaining a calm demeanor.
• Ensure all service stations are stocked, organized, and supplies are accessible to Kitchen Service teams.

• Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support team objectives and operational success.
