Job summary

Gracious Hospitality Management is seeking Polishers to join our team at 550 Madison. You will inspect and polish glassware, flatware, and plateware, ensuring flawless service for our guests in a high-end dining environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining dish pit cleanliness, training new staff, and supporting other stations as needed. A strong English proficiency and flexible weekend/night availability are required.

Qualifications

• Must read, speak, understand and follow written and verbal English.
• Must be reachable by email and able to communicate by phone.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Positive, results-oriented, team-player mentality.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect glassware, flatware, plate ware for flaws and polish.
• Remove cracked items from service and inform management.
• Polish items to a shine and remove watermarks, stains, lint.
• Maintain dish pit cleanliness and daily ice/coffee/water station upkeep.
• Train new employees as assigned.
• Assist other restaurant stations when requested by management.
• Report to shift on time, in uniform.
