Description

The View, New York City’s only revolving restaurant, bar, and lounge has been led by Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group since 2025, following a complete renovation by the Rockwell Group. The space evokes the vibrant nightlife of historic New York, drawing inspiration from classic American supper clubs.

Located in the heart of the theater district, The View spans two floors, offering both a lively bar and a full-service dining room in constant motion. The experience blends live music, classic American cuisine, and panoramic skyline views with the theatrical energy of the surrounding neighborhood.

Who you are:

The Polisher is an important partner to our Kitchen team and is responsible for maintaining, organizing, and stocking all supplies and materials for service, such as china, glass, silver, and linens.

What you’ll do:

  • Consistently support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality
  • Demonstrates a willingness to support all team members with the ability to multitask while maintaining a calm demeanor on and off the floor
  • Ensure all service stations are stocked, organized, and supplies are accessible to the Kitchen Service teams
  • Create a welcoming and hospitable environment for all guests
  • Communicates effectively with staff members, management, and the kitchen during service
  • Demonstrates an eagerness to continue to learn and grow
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed and other duties as assigned to support team objectives and operational success

What we need from you:

  • Experience in a restaurant support role within a full-service restaurant preferred, but not required
  • English fluency and additional languages preferred, but not required
  • Ability to stand or walk long periods of time
  • Ability to balance & carry multiple plates, glass racks and or/glasses, and lift objects up to 30 lbs.
