Job summary

The Baltimore Life Insurance Company is seeking a Policyholder Relations representative to handle customer service calls in a call center and assist policyholders with routine inquiries. You will document transactions, explain correspondence policies, and navigate our policy systems from issue to death claim or cancellation, using MS Office daily.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year in a call center; strong communication skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. Related college courses can be considered to meet experience requirements.
• Minimum of one-year customer call center experience
• Experience with life insurance industry is preferred
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is expected
• Excellent telephone and written communication skills are essential

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service in a call center environment.
• Accurately answer policyholder questions about policies and riders.
• Accurately process financial and non-financial transactions.
• Explain to BLI correspondence policyholders.
• Navigate the insurance administration and document workflow systems from policy issue to death claim or cancellation.
