Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Public Policy Manager to join the Infrastructure and Energy team. The role focuses on policy development for data center infrastructure, energy goals, and site selection, working with regional policy teams and business units across the US.

You will monitor energy and infrastructure legislation, coordinate with trade associations and consultants, and craft memos that support external engagement and internal alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public policy, economic development, or energy related fields
• 5+ years of energy policy experience with a focus on supporting business needs
• Experience managing multiple workstreams, deadlines, and cross-team coordination
• Ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives
• Experience working with large cross-functional groups including technical teams

Responsibilities

• Support cross-functional policy initiatives on data center infrastructure, energy, and economic development
• Identify and track energy and data center legislation across US states and federal level
• Collaborate with internal teams, trade associations, and external consultants on policy issues
• Support policy engagement strategies informed by business needs and research
• Facilitate alignment across internal teams and external partners
• Prepare summaries and memos on infrastructure and energy policies for external engagement
• Support other policy areas such as tax and trade as needed
