Job summary

Suvi, an Akima company, seeks a highly qualified Policy SME to join our team supporting federal investigations and operations policy. This on-site role shapes and delivers specialized instruction to law enforcement professionals, ensuring preparedness for complex national security challenges.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 20+ years in DOJ/USIC management and legislative oversight.
• 10+ years FBI investigations (criminal & national security).
• 5+ years cross-agency information sharing.
• 5+ years policy input in working groups.
• 3 years updating investigations & operations guides & FBI policies.
• Knowledge of AGG guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain the investigations and operations guide (DIOG) aligning with current standards and legal guidance.
• Advise on developing/updating operational and administrative policies.
• Recommend substantive and administrative updates to the DIOG for accuracy and mission focus.
• Provide expert advice on IPO policies including undercover and extraterritorial operations, online investigations, sensitive techniques, and counterintelligence.
