Qualifications

• 5 years underwriting processing experience
• 1 year of leadership experience
• Interpersonal and communication skills required
• Knowledge of personal computers and software tools
• Supervisory and mentoring capabilities

Responsibilities

• Direct and support Underwriting Technicians and team leads in completing policy service tasks
• Monitor daily workflows to ensure adherence to quality and service standards
• Assist in identifying training needs and deliver hands-on training for team members
• Provide coaching and feedback to improve performance
• Implement established workflows and suggest improvements for efficiency
• Coordinate with IT and Product Development teams on automation issues as directed by the manager
• Track productivity and quality metrics; report results to the Policy Services Manager
• Conduct performance evaluations and recommend personnel actions such as promotions or salary adjustments
• Participate in hiring and onboarding of new team members
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
