The Policy & Research Group (PRG) seeks a Junior Research Analyst to support education, workforce, or public health projects. The role emphasizes rigorous social science methods, collaboration, and delivering timely insights to improve social and economic policy outcomes.

Primary duties include managing projects, data collection, IRB submissions, and communicating with partners under supervision. Starting salary is $50,000 with full-time hours and potential remote work; location in New Orleans

Qualifications

• 0–3 years research experience.
• Master's degree in social science or related discipline.
• Strong interest in conducting high‑quality research.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule; some evening and weekend hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage ongoing research and evaluation projects.
• Communicate with project partners and data collectors.
• Conduct data collection (in person and virtual).
• Assist with developing data collection instruments and study systems.
• Prepare IRB submissions and summarize findings under senior staff guidance.
