Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Policy Analyst to provide program, policy, and operational support to OCSE’s regulatory activities. You will assist with policy research, drafting materials, and clear communication with internal stakeholders and external partners.

The role supports analysis and archival of regulatory documents and contributes to the review and maintenance of the OCSE Policy section of the website.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma and at least 5 years of experience supporting Child Support agencies.
• At least 5+ years of experience in Child Support Policy Analysis.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust.
• Extensive knowledge of federal child support laws, regulations and policy.
• Experience with state or local child support programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate complex policy research simply.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced federal environment.
• Experience coordinating across organizations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct impact analyses of archived regulations and guidance, identifying policy implications and risks.
• Research historical policy changes and propose mitigation strategies.
• Prepare briefings for the Commissioner and stakeholders.
• Manage and maintain the OCSE document archive for accuracy and compliance.
• Review and support OCSE Policy section content for accuracy and organization.
• Prepare and track documentation, reports, and records on regulatory updates.
• Support policy management process improvements.
• Provide research, drafting, and communication support on policy issues.
