Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a Government and Public Affairs Intern in Washington, D.C. to support the U.S. government affairs team on policy, regulatory and industry issues affecting a leading memory and storage company.

You will monitor political developments, conduct research and analyses, prepare briefing materials, and help engage government officials and industry groups; familiarity with AI tools and MS Office is a plus; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, political science, communications or related field.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Must be a current student and not graduate before May 2027.
• Core understanding of national politics and government processes.
• Strong collaboration and organizational skills to manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Global Policy & Business Partnership team on projects, events, and research to advance strategic objectives.
• Develop understanding of Micron’s current and future policy issues and assess key regulatory risks and opportunities.
• Conduct research and policy analyses and assist in developing Micron’s responses to government and trade groups.
• Partner with the team to engage government officials, opinion leaders and regulators in the United States.
• Assist in preparing briefing and presentation materials for executive level meetings with government stakeholders.
• Support policy research using AI-enabled tools to analyze trends, summarize information, and ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Willingness to travel to Micron sites as required.
