Job summary

Micron Technology, a world leader in memory and storage solutions, is seeking a Government and Public Affairs Intern based in Washington, DC. You will support the U.S. policy team with research, monitoring of developments, and analysis to inform Micron's federal engagement.

In this fast-paced role, you will work with cross-functional partners, develop briefings, and explore AI-enabled tools to analyze trends while ensuring accuracy and compliance, with travel as needed to Micron sites.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, political science, communications, or related field.
• Must be a current student and not graduate before May 2027.
• Strong understanding of national politics and government processes.

Responsibilities

• Work with Global Policy & Business Partnership team on projects, events, and research.
• Develop understanding of Micron’s issues and assess policy risks and opportunities.
• Conduct research and policy analyses and assist in developing official responses to government groups.
• Partner with the team to engage government officials and regulators in the United States.
• Prepare briefing materials for executive level meetings with government stakeholders.
• Support policy research using AI-enabled tools and ensure outputs are accurate and confidential.
• Willingness to travel to Micron sites as required.
