Job summary

Micron Technology seeks a Government and Public Affairs Intern in Washington, DC. You will monitor politics, analyze policy developments, and support the team in advancing Micron’s policy objectives at the federal level.

Responsibilities include research, preparing briefings, and engaging with government officials. Strong communication, collaboration, and knowledge of national politics are essential. Travel to Micron sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, political science, communications or related field.
• Must be a current student and not graduate before May 2027.
• Advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with Global Policy & Business Partnership and Government & Public Affairs teams on projects, events and research.
• Assess policy, regulatory risks and opportunities for Micron.
• Conduct research and policy analyses and help develop official responses to government and trade groups.
• Engage government officials, opinion leaders and regulators in the United States.
• Prepare briefing and presentation materials for executive level meetings with government stakeholders.
• Support policy research using AI-enabled tools, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Travel to Micron sites as required.
