Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Policy Communications Intern to support the global policy communications strategy. You will create content, manage social media, monitor events, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance policy priorities.

Responsibilities include drafting materials, summarizing hearings, analyzing policy news, and amplifying narratives across channels. This internship offers hands-on experience with an established global communications function.

Qualifications

• Interest or experience in government, technology, defense, or semiconductors.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with a can-do attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Experience with AI, LLMs, or AI-enabled workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of global policy communications strategies across channels.
• Draft communications materials including quotes, press releases, and messaging briefs.
• Manage and create content for the MicronPolicy X account to meet engagement goals.
• Attend and summarize congressional hearings and think tank events related to semiconductor and national security issues.
• Monitor policy activities and industry news to identify engagement opportunities.
• Collaborate with global communications, marketing, and digital teams to amplify narratives.
• Copy edit and format internal and external communications products.
