Job summary

AF Group in Lansing, Mich. provides innovative insurance solutions and supports Century Underwriting. This role focuses on preparing and routing new and renewal quote requests and organizing supporting quote and policy documents for the Century Underwriting department.

You will support external customers (agents) and underwriting while maintaining service levels, metrics and quality of work. The position is heavily administrative and will progress from frequent supervision to moderate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of customer service or data entry experience.
• Progress toward or completion of AINS 101 designation.
• Ability to work in a multi-state environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and route new and renewal quote requests from external customers.
• Create customer correspondence as needed.
• Route supporting quote and policy documents to internal departments.
• Enter data into the computer system and access policy information.
• Monitor daily assignments to ensure timeliness.
