Job summary

Dipp AI Technologies in New York, NY seeks a senior software engineer to design and implement policy evaluation systems. You will own the logic scrubber component, ensuring deterministic results with explainable outcomes and fast request paths.

You will collaborate with compliance and design partners, translate rules into code, and optimize performance while building tools for testing, dry-runs, and auditing.

Qualifications

• Experience building rules engines, policy systems, query planners, compilers, or type checkers.
• Ability to explain machine decisions to non-engineers.
• Experience in regulated domains is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Design the policy representation and compiler for executable evaluation.
• Build deterministic evaluation with explainable outcomes and stable reason codes.
• Implement conflict resolution when regimes disagree.
• Build simulation and dry-run tooling for policy testing.
• Own the performance envelope of evaluation inside gating path.
• Collaborate with compliance leaders to encode control frameworks.
