Job summary

Synechron seeks an experienced Java-focused developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade applications driven by configurable business rules. You will implement rule engines like Drools, IBM ODM, or Red Hat Decision Manager to translate policies into executable logic.

The role involves building RESTful services with Spring Boot, collaborating with analysts and SMEs, and ensuring performance, traceability, and governance of rule execution.

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications with configurable business rules.
• Develop and integrate rule engines such as Drools, IBM ODM, Red Hat Decision Manager, FICO Blaze Advisor, or similar platforms.
• Translate policies, pricing logic, and decision models into executable rules.
• Build RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven services using Spring Boot and Java frameworks.
• Collaborate with BAs, POs, and SMEs to gather requirements and implement rule-based solutions.
• Optimize rule execution performance, traceability, explainability, and governance.
