Job summary

JobAps in Baltimore, MD is seeking a policy-focused leader to ensure DDA policies align with family-centered, equitable services. The role will drive the Maryland Community of Practice for Supporting Families and coordinate partnerships to support statewide implementation across communities.

The candidate will apply Charting the LifeCourse principles to advance programs that improve outcomes for children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, social work, psychology, education, counseling, or related field.
• Six years of health services experience, including three years in developmental disabilities and two years in management/supervision.
• Notes: Master’s or Doctorate can substitute up to two years of general experience; other substitutions described in the listing.

Responsibilities

• Provide policy expertise from the family perspective and lead the Maryland Community of Practice for Supporting Families (MD CoP-SF).
• Advance systems change using the Charting the LifeCourse framework and manage partnerships to support statewide implementation.
• Support statewide capacity building to enhance lives of people and families across the lifespan.
