Job summary

Civicworks in Baltimore seeks a Program Administrator I to serve as the Statewide Coordinator of Family Support for the Developmental Disabilities Administration. The role ensures policy and practice are person-centered and family-oriented, and it advocates for families across the lifespan.

You will provide policy expertise from the family perspective and lead the Maryland Community of Practice for Supporting Families to drive systems change and coordinated supports across services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree requirement in health, social services, or related field.
• Six years professional experience in health services.
• Three years experience in Developmental Disabilities professional work.
• Two years managerial or supervisory level experience.
• Experience with DDA community resources, waiver programs, and family navigation.
• Strong communication skills and understanding of cultural competency and equity.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Statewide Coordinator of Family Support for the DDA in Baltimore.
• Ensure policies and practices are person-centered and family-oriented.
• Lead Maryland Community of Practice for Supporting Families to advance systems change and support implementation.
