Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Public Policy Manager to drive strategic engagement and experiential events for the Americas from our Washington, DC office. This on-site role focuses on government relations, stakeholder engagement, and policy-focused experiences that showcase our products and safeguards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• Experience in public policy, government relations, public affairs, operations, events, or stakeholder engagement with cross-functional projects.
• Ability to lead presentations, product demonstrations, or facilitated discussions with external audiences.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to own initiatives from planning through execution.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across regional teams and senior leadership.
• Sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive policy matters.
• Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends and travel.

Responsibilities

• Own the management and ongoing development of the DC engagement center and ensure it aligns with policy priorities.
• Develop interactive experiences that tell our product stories to public policy audiences and surface policy narratives.
• Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders at events and engagements.
• Lead product demonstrations and policy-focused discussions tailored to each audience.
• Collaborate across Global Public Policy, Communications, Product, and experts to plan stakeholder visits.
• Plan and execute policy events and stakeholder programs from agenda design to follow-up.
• Support high-priority public policy events across the US and Americas region.
• Manage budgets, procurement, vendors, and compliance for the center and events.
