Job summary

TikTok in Washington, DC is hiring an Industry Relations Manager to engage with brands, trade associations, and rightsholder groups, shaping policy positions for TikTok Shop. You will collaborate with Legal, Brand Protection, and IPR teams to influence policy and ensure a safe eCommerce environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Drive third party e-Commerce group engagement strategy with brands and industry associations.
• Build relationships with brands and industry associations in anti-counterfeiting, IP and rightsholder groups.
• Partner with Legal, Brand Protection, IPR and other teams to assess risks to regulation and legislation.
• Represent TikTok Shop and advocate positions in external forums, including industry discussions and conferences.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align external processes and narratives across TikTok and TikTok Shop.
• Integrate industry perspectives into government relations and business strategies.
• Draft memos, presentations, and talking points for leadership on Industry Relations and Regulatory Partnership.
• Stay updated on industry regulatory developments and best practices.
