Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a senior-level policy professional to shape public policy positions on PBM and prescription drug policy within its Washington, DC office. Reporting to the Senior Counsel, Rapid Response Policy, you will develop policy analyses, briefs, and recommended solutions in collaboration with legal, analytics, and government affairs teams.

You will monitor legislation, translate complex policy concepts into practical implications, and help advance enterprise-wide policy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; JD/MBA or Master’s in Public Health, Health Policy or Public Administration preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of health policy, government affairs, or PBM/pharma experience.
• Collaborative, analytical, and able to manage complex assignments independently.

Responsibilities

• Develops policy analyses, recommendations, and advocacy materials for PBM and prescription drug issues.
• Drafts briefs, white papers, letters, and regulatory comments in partnership with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and translate them into actionable policy positions.
