The Cigna Group seeks a Director of Medical Drug Contracting Strategy & Solutions to lead the development and growth of our medical drug contracting offering for Health Plans and Employer Groups. This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration to deliver a holistic program across the enterprise.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in managed care, a Bachelor's degree, and a pharmacist background; you will drive client upsells, manage financial modeling, negotiate terms, and ensure regulatory

Qualifications

• 10+ years of general managed care experience.
• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Registered Pharmacist preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct the development and ongoing management of competitive medical rebate product offering.
• Oversee a team focused on financial modeling and client recommendations.
• Drive upsell targets and deepen client relationships.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to grow key initiatives.
• Negotiate contractual terms with payers and consultants.
• Navigate Medicare and Medicaid regulatory requirements.
• Support downstream clients enrolled in Express Scripts medical rebates.
• Ensure compliance with vendor contracts.
• Demonstrate initiative, reliability, and ability to meet deadlines.
