Amazon is seeking a Communications Principal in Policy Communications and External Affairs to lead media relations and strategic campaigns across the U.S. You will serve as an on-the-record spokesperson and partner with cross-functional teams to shape policy-driven narratives around AI, infrastructure, and technology policy.

The role requires 10+ years in public relations or communications, a Bachelor's degree, and a track record of crisis communications and high-stakes media engagement.

Qualificações

• 10+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience developing successful marketing or communications campaigns.
• Experience in media relations and issues management.
• Prior experience related to AI, infrastructure, energy, technology policy, and/or crisis communications.

Responsabilidades

• Define, develop, and oversee end-to-end execution of communications programs.
• Manage reputational issues with internal stakeholders and members of the media.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with technology, policy, and business journalists.
• Work cross-functionally to plan and execute PR campaigns.
• Manage complex, fast-moving, and unexpected communications challenges with high judgment and professionalism.
