Job summary

South Carolina Farm Bureau Insurance Company is seeking a Policy Analyst in Columbia, SC to analyze change requests, ensure accuracy, and manage data entry for policy applications, changes, cancellations and reinstatements. The role includes handling manual line declarations and occasional home-based work after prescribed service time.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or E.D. required.
• Must be able to type a minimum of 25 wpm.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams office programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with external customers by phone, email, and written correspondence.
• Analyze for accuracy and enter data for applications, changes, cancellations, renewals, audits and reinstatements.
• Respond to questions from Agents, insureds, Claims Adjusters and lienholders.
• Analyze new business applications for completeness.
• Manually rate manual lines policies to derive the correct rate.
• Input policy declarations and endorsements for manual lines policies.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.
