Team Gilbert invites applications for the Police Teleserve Officer role in Gilbert, AZ. This position operates in a 24/7 environment, handling telephone and in-person citizen inquiries, assisting with police reports, and processing data for vacation and patrol watches.

The role includes completing incident reports, notarizing affidavits, collecting cash and bonds, and filing required prisoner-release paperwork at the Gilbert/Chandler Unified Holding Facility.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months of customer service or data entry experience.
• Experience writing police reports preferred.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills, plus interpersonal and communication abilities; attention to detail, problem-solving and basic math/computer skills.
• Must be able to perform rotating shift work in a 24/7 work unit.

Mansioni

• Provides in person customer service to citizens in the Police Department lobby.
• Obtains information and writes police reports for specific crimes.
• Obtains and inputs data for vacation watch and patrol watch requests.
• Researches and provides information to the public regarding inquiries about prisoners at the holding facility.
• Writes supplemental police reports for laboratory test results.
• Fingerprints offenders and notarizes legal documents.
• Creates Calls-for-Service using CAD system.
• Other duties as assigned.
