The role acts as Custodian of Records and oversees daily Records Section operations, budgets, and expenditures.

Qualifications

• One year of records experience required.
• Two years of records experience with one year supervisory preferred.
• CJIS/TLETS full access eligibility required.
• Freedom of Information (FOIA) certification within two years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the official version of police records and act as Custodian of Records for the Police Department.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the Records Section.
• Administer statistical reports and maintain equipment for the Records Section.
• Provide related services and interact with City employees and citizens.
• Provide direction to staff, create budgets, and manage expenditures.
