Job summary

City of Minneapolis is seeking a data-driven professional to support the Early Intervention Committee (EIS) and MPD Supervisors in evaluating candidates for the program. The role involves reviewing MPD records, performance data, and other resources to inform recommendations and improvements.

The incumbent will develop and monitor policies, procedures, and forms to ensure policy adherence, report findings to leadership, and foster partnerships with external agencies for training and development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, IT, Psychology, MIS, or related field.
• Four years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Recommend candidates for the program based on data review.
• Assist MPD with policy and procedure for the EIS program.
• Develop processes, procedures, and forms for policy adherence.
• Notify and collaborate with MPD staff on findings.
• Advise supervisors on deficient performance by email or letters.
• Prepare communications to supervisors about performance.
• Develop objectives and performance measures for the department.
• Analyze performance data and provide recommendations.
• Provide data/resources to employees on request.
• Facilitate information flow about confidential resources.
• Build partnerships with agencies for training needs.
• Provide resources to help employees achieve optimum performance.
• Create reports using MPD IT platforms.
