Job summary

The City of Minneapolis is seeking an EIS Manager through the Minneapolis Police Department to enhance employee performance and uphold a culture of high professional standards. This onsite role will lead cross‑department efforts, develop training, and supervise staff while ensuring regulatory compliance and data privacy.

Responsibilities include strategy development, policy evaluation, and reporting using tools like Tableau, Cognos, and PIMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Management/Leadership, Psychology, Public Policy, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
• Five or more years related work, supervisory experience required.
• An equivalent combination of education and highly related experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategy for early intervention programs ensuring competitive, cost-effective plans that drive a culture of high professional performance and accountability.
• Manage and evaluate policies and procedures for the EIS program while interpreting policy and making administrative decisions.
• Work to achieve and maintain compliance with EIS deliverables in court decrees and grant-funded partnerships.
• Collaborate with EIS Staff, Health and Safety, Health & Wellness, MPs supervisors, HR regarding performance indicators and actions.
• Create training and education on Early Intervention and effective leadership in law enforcement.
• Oversee maintenance of databases containing private personnel data and ensure data practice compliance.
