• At least 21 years of age by April 26, 2027.
• No felony convictions.
• Must meet DPSST certification standards.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of work experience, college coursework, or military experience.
• Oregon driver’s license (or ability to obtain by date of hire).
• CPR certification within twelve months of appointment.
• Must pass police background investigation.
• Must pass a physical assessment and drug test.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as first responder to incidents; direct link between the department and the public.
• Respond to and investigate incident scenes; assess appropriate actions.
• Patrol assigned areas; enforce laws and ordinances; make arrests; preserve crime scene evidence; summarize events in reports.
• Perform preventative community policing for diverse neighborhoods.
