Civil Service Exam Police Officer - Irwin Borough

Applications are being accepted for qualified individuals to take the Civil Service Exam for the position of Full-Time Patrolman for Irwin Borough. Applications are available from 08:30 to 16:00, Monday through Friday, from April 16, 2025, to May 12, 2025, at the Irwin Borough Municipal Office, 424 Main Street, Irwin, PA 15642. Qualified applicants must pass a written exam and a physical agility test. The written exam will be held on May 24, 2025, at Norwin High School, 251 McMahon Drive, North Huntingdon, PA 15642, at 09:00. The physical agility test will be scheduled at a later date.

Minimum Requirements

1. U.S. Citizen
2. High School graduate or equivalent
3. At least 21 years of age
4. PA Act 120 certification (if completed) or prior to appointment
5. Valid PA driver's license

Completed applications must be received at the Irwin Borough Municipal Office by 15:00 on May 16, 2025.
