Police Officer Position - City of Fort Lupton

The City of Fort Lupton is seeking qualified Police Officers to join our team. We welcome applicants with recent law enforcement training or experience. Our pay scale has recently increased, with starting salaries as follows:

1. P.O.S.T. certified with less than 2 years of experience: $72,800
2. After one year of service: $78,728
3. Lateral transfer with 2-3 years of experience: $84,635.20
4. Lateral transfer with 4-6 years of experience: $90,480
5. Maximum pay: $109,200

Job Responsibilities

Qualifications and Requirements

• Reside within 60 minutes of the station

Disqualifiers

Felony convictions, domestic violence crimes, recent illegal drug use, and certain military discharges may disqualify applicants.

Working Conditions

Officers may work in various weather conditions, handle stressful situations, and work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
