Qualifications

• Knowledge of design and implementation of major program and/or processes for an entire organization.
• Knowledge of logistics (facilities, fleet and supply) matters and personnel issues.
• Knowledge of supervision and monitoring performance, including hiring/disciplinary actions and objectives/effectiveness.
• Ability to exercise independent judgement and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective and professional working relationships.
• Ability to be highly organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects by researching and drafting contract specifications; serve as contract administrator; review completed work and warranties; liaison to construction project manager.
• Perform strategic planning and budget management by analyzing operational requirements; propose policy changes; monitor program accounts; issue guidance to supervisors.
• Administer the card key and physical security programs by maintaining databases; process background requests; run inventory reports; manage CCTV systems.
• Manage the department’s vehicle fleet; coordinate with city fleet for repairs and purchases; allocate fleet; manage fleet budget.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of department facilities; manage facility budget expenditures.
