Job summary

New Mexico State University’s Police Department seeks a Police Department Support Services Coordinator to plan and oversee security for university events. You will hire, train, direct, and coordinate Reserve Police Officers and non-commissioned personnel, and develop comprehensive security plans.

You will also handle billing for services, prepare estimates, and compile reports on operations and outcomes, contributing to campus safety and rapid, effective responses during events.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree plus 2 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree.
  • Equivalent qualifications include associate degree with 4 years or 6 years of experience.
  • Preferred: Bachelor degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Required Education and Experience:
