Position performs compliance monitoring, expenditure transactional review, administration of sponsored awards collections and monthly/fiscal year end receivable analysis. Ensures letter of credit (LOC) federal agency electronic payment systems for our awards are in balance with Banner budgets. Ensures timely and accurate submission of quarterly financial reports. Ensures timely submission of the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act (FFATA) Sub award Reporting System of subcontracts. Responsible for timely financial sponsored award closeout and property closeouts. Administers month end cost share close process. Responsible for restricted awards document management/destruction of expired awards per State of New Mexico guidelines.
Associate's Degree + 4 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree + 2 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in accountancy or bachelor's degree with successful completion of at least 15 credit hours of Accounting (ACCT) course work.;
Preferred Experience: Three (3) years of professional experience directly related to the job duties and responsibilities as outlined.
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
