Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Call Reception: Receive and record information from callers including emergencies, accidents, and public inquiries.
• Unit Dispatch: Dispatch messages to troop units and coordinate communication among assigned responders.
• Information Assistance: Provide answers and directions to the public regarding reports, complaints, and requests.
• Record Management: Maintain electronic incident data and research information in state systems.
• Regulation Review: Review updates to laws and policies by reading correspondence and attending trainings.
• Shift Briefing: Brief incoming staff on significant events and active incidents.
