Job summary

BLUMENTHAL TEMECULA LLC in San Diego, CA, is seeking a fully trained Electric Vehicle Technician to support the Polestar San Diego Service Department. The role requires electric/hybrid experience, OEM diagnostic capability, and a commitment to safety and quality in a busy workshop.

Responsibilities include maintenance, repair, and accurate documentation using a laptop for diagnostics; strong customer service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Electric/Hybrid training qualified - Volvo a plus!
• 5 years experience in an OEM dealer environment with an ASE A6 or OEM Electrical Certification
• Proficient and comfortable with using a laptop for diagnostics
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good technical knowledge
• Must have a Driving License
• Ability to work without supervision
• Take responsibility for the quality and quantity of their work

Responsibilities

• Undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on electric motor vehicles to the highest standard
• Carry out all work completely and effectively whilst adhering to manufacturer’s scheduled times to maintain efficiency
• Effectively record details of diagnosis, work completed, and components utilized in line with group and manufacturer standards
• Keep work areas clean and tidy, organized and safe from hazards to health and safety
• Be able to liaise effectively with colleagues and customers at all levels in a polite and efficient manner
• To be aware of the importance and implication of maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and work to ensure they are met at all times

Job Details: Job Location: Polestar San Diego Service Department - San Diego, CA 92121, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $25.00 - $35.00 Hourly, Job Category: Automotive, Polestar Orange County is seeking a fully trained Electric Vehicle Technician to join their already successful independent workshop. Musts be a team player, able to work to deadlines and have the ability to use your own initiative.

The ideal technician MUST have previous Electrical/Hybrid experience and in-depth electrical technical knowledge.

Vehicle Technician Responsibilities
