Job summary

Polestar Orange County seeks a fully trained Electric Vehicle Technician to join a high-performing team in a premier service facility. The role demands strong EV/Hybrid expertise, OEM dealership experience, ASE or OEM electrical certification, and proficiency with diagnostic laptops.

You will diagnose, repair, and service electric vehicles, document all work, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while delivering excellent customer service. A valid CA license is required.

Qualifications

• Must have EV/Hybrid training and ASE/OEM electrical certification.
• 5+ years in an OEM dealer environment.
• Proficient with diagnostic laptops and OEM software.
• Valid California Driver's License.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication.
• Must be able to work without supervision and stay focused.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance and repair on electric vehicles to high standards.
• Record diagnosis details and parts used per standards.
• Keep work areas clean, organized and safe.
• Liaise with customers and colleagues professionally.
• Meet deadlines and contribute to team targets.

Polestar Orange County is seeking a fully trained Electric Vehicle Technician to join their already successful independent workshop. Musts be a team player, able to work to deadlines and have the ability to use your own initiative.The ideal technician MUST have previous Electrical/Hybrid experience and in-depth electrical technical knowledge.Vehicle Technician Responsibilities:Undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on electric motor vehicles to the highest standardCarry out all work completely and effectively whilst adhering to manufacturer’s scheduled times to maintain efficiencyEffectively record details of diagnosis, work completed, and components utilized in line with group and manufacturer standardsKeep work areas clean and tidy, organized and safe from hazards to health and safetyBe able to liaise effectively with colleagues and customers at all levels in a polite and efficient mannerTo be aware of the importance and implication of maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and work to ensure they are met at all timesThe Ideal Vehicle Technician:Electric/Hybrid training qualified - Volvo a plus!5 years experience in an OEM dealer environment with an ASE A6 or OEM Electrical CertificationMust be proficient and comfortable with the use of a laptop for diagnosticsExcellent customer service skillsGood technical knowledgeMust have a Driving LicenseThe ability to work without supervisionTake responsibility for the quality and quantity of their workYou must be able to produce high quality work in a busy motor trade environment and be motivated through set targets, showing flexibility according to the needs of your team.If you are looking for a fantastic opportunity within your already successful career and would like to join this highly successful prestige motor company, then APPLY today!
