Apalachee-Pole-Company, Inc is seeking a Framing Deck Operator Helper to assist in the framing deck area of a pole mill. This role supports safe operation, helps load and position poles, and ensures production meets specifications.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, able to learn mill procedures, and comfortable working in a loud industrial environment. Training will be provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Framing Deck Operator with daily production activities.
• Help load, position, align, and move poles on the framing deck.
• Assist with measuring, marking, framing, and preparing poles according to specifications.
• Monitor poles and materials as they move through the production process.
• Assist with operating or using machinery after proper training.
• Inspect poles for defects and report concerns to the operator or supervisor.
• Keep the framing deck and equipment clean and safe.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
