Stella-Jones Corporation in Silver Springs, NV is seeking a Framer 2 to manufacture round stock to specifications, maintaining safety and efficiency. The role involves inspecting stock to ANSI/ASTM standards, using framing tools, tagging and preparing poles for treatment, and documenting processed material.

During the 90-day probation, Framer 2 may be classified as Framer 3 during training until proficient. Benefits include a comprehensive package and 401(k) with company match.

Responsibilities

• Framer 2 primary function is to manufacture round stock product to established specification in a productive, efficient and safe manner.
• Inspects and verifies quality and classification of all round stock to ANSI, ASTM or Corporate standards.
• Operates hand and framing tools to cut, drill, gain, brand, tag, clean and prepare poles for treatment.
• Documents and reports material processed.
• Maintains tools, equipment, supplies and work area.
• Assists in inspection of all round stock products.
• Assists in receipt of materials, tallying, identification, records and information.
• Assists in operation of full length and deep incisor as required.
• Operates pole tag machine to manufacture aluminum tags as required
• Participates and contributes to company safety program.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
