MGM Resorts International in National Harbor, Maryland invites you to join our Poker Room team as a Poker Room Host. You will welcome guests, manage player lists, start games, and keep the action flowing while supporting dealers and ensuring smooth operations.

The ideal candidate is at least 18 years old, has a High School Diploma or GED, and prior poker experience in casino operations is preferred. You will place guests into games, explain rules, track activity, and help promote MGM Rewards

THE JOB:

As a Poker Room Host you will be the first to welcome guests into the excitement of our Poker Room, manage player lists, start games, and keeping the action flowing. In this role, you'll create a seamless guest experience while supporting dealers and ensuring smooth, efficient operations.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Responsible for the placement of guests into games
• Develop customer relations and facilitate usage of the MGM Rewards card
• Explain rules and answer questions for guests
• Open games in accordance with the supervisor's instructions
• Handle player transactions and maintain poker table banks with accuracy and efficiency
• Track player activity using internal systems to ensure accurate records

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• At least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior poker experience within Casino Operations (preferred)

Pay Rate:

The rate for this role is:
$18.50

This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.

Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
