Job summary

MGM Resorts International at National Harbor is seeking a Fountain Worker to greet guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages in a fast-paced, high-energy resort environment.

You will prepare, garnish, and package orders, handle cash, maintain cleanliness, and stock supplies while ensuring safety standards and guest satisfaction are top priorities.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Has a High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, take orders, and serve food and beverages accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare, garnish, and package orders to guest preference with condiments.
• Handle cash transactions following cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of front- and back-of-house areas and dining spaces.
• Label, date, stock, and replenish products as needed.
• Perform opening and closing duties based on shift.
• Unload deliveries and organize storage areas.
• Operate kitchen and beverage equipment safely and efficiently.
• Resolve guest concerns within scope of authority and upscale issues.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Greet guests warmly, take orders, and serve food and beverages accurately and efficiently
• Prepare, garnish, and package orders to guest preference, including necessary condiments
• Handle cash transactions while following all proper cash‑handling and comp procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of front‑and‑back‑of‑house areas, including tables, counters, and dining spaces
• Properly label, date, stock, and replenish food and beverage products
• Perform opening and closing duties based on assigned shift
• Unload warehouse deliveries and organize products in designated storage areas
• Operate standard kitchen and beverage equipment safely and efficiently
• Resolve guest concerns within scope of authority and upscale issues as needed
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• At least 18 years of age
• Has a High School Diploma or GED
• Previous food service experience preferred

Pay Rate:

The rate for this role is:

$21.21

This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.

Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
