Live! Casino & Hotel in Hanover, MD is seeking a Poker Room Attendant to ensure a smooth, welcoming experience for every guest. You will manage player flow, seating, and assist with tournaments and promotions while delivering attentive service.

Responsibilities include registering players, seating, handling inquiries, assisting with tournament registrations and payouts, promoting Live! Rewards, expediting food orders, and maintaining poker room cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Flexibility with work schedule; extended hours possible.
Must obtain and maintain license as required by Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.

Responsibilities

Provide exemplary guest service with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
Address guests by name and direct them with a friendly tone.
Register players using the computer poker software.
Seat players while balancing the games appropriately.
Answer telephone inquiries and take reservations.
Assist Supervisors with poker tournament registrations, entry fees, cash receipts, table assignments, and payout of winners.
Promote Live! Rewards cards and other promotions as requested.
Expedite food orders and ensure correct deliveries.
Handle safety deposit boxes and assist guests as needed.
Maintain safety and security by reporting suspicious activity.
Attend training and meetings as required.
Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the Poker Room.
