Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland is seeking a part-time Poker Dealer to deliver a lively, fair, and engaging gaming experience at our poker tables.

You will deal cards efficiently, enforce rules, and ensure accurate payouts while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires at least one year of casino dealing or a dealer-school certification, the ability to work flexible hours, and eligibility for Maryland licensing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of experience as a casino dealer or a dealer-school certification.
• Flexibility with work schedule and extended hours when needed.
• Must obtain and maintain Maryland license as mandated.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary customer service at the poker table.
• Deal poker games such as Texas Hold’em, Omaha, Stud and Draw.
• Deal various limits: No Limit, Limit, Spread Limit, and Pot Limit.
• Control gaming cards and equipment.
• Protect company assets by monitoring guest movement at the table.
• Analyze play for cheating or suspicious activity.
• Engage with guests and manage wins/losses.
• Ensure guest and employee safety and security.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
