Job summary

Mohegan Sun is seeking a Poker Pit Manager to ensure security of poker tables and equipment within the pit area, while supervising staff and enforcing internal controls and regulations.

You will train and schedule staff, communicate with Surveillance, and uphold high guest-service standards in a fast-paced casino environment. English fluency required and prior supervisory poker experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of combined supervisory experience in Poker or previous Poker Pit Manager experience in a high volume, complex casino environment.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure security of Poker tables and related equipment in pit area.
• Assist with training, scheduling, counseling and supervision of Poker staff.
• Maintain communication with Surveillance Department and enforce Internal Controls and regulations.
• Improve staff skills through training, counseling and evaluation of daily performance.
• Provide superior guest service and greet guests to promote a positive experience.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of the Player Rating System.
• Stay informed about events, entertainment and employee activities on property.
• Provide superior guest service and resolve related issues with composure.
