Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol seeks a Poker Dealer to greet guests, manage poker games, handle seating, buy-ins, and credits, and ensure responsible gaming. The role requires 21+ and licenses/certifications per gaming commission, with background checks and drug screening.

Shift flexibility and teamwork are essential. Candidate must maintain a safe, clean environment and coordinate with Dealers and Floor staff to service guests at all times.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior guest service or poker experience preferred and beneficial.
• Licenses/certifications: must obtain and maintain per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Commission; must pass background check and drug screening; must be 21+.
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends and flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet guests.
• Answer calls in Poker area and respond to questions from potential players.
• Maintain waiting lists for Poker games using the Bravo system.
• Open and maintain games.
• Page players and escort to tables when seats are available.
• Provide buy-ins to players as needed.
• Perform credits and fills with Dealers.
• Transport cash and chips to/from Poker Cage as needed.
• Wash and reset decks as assigned.
• Maintain constant contact with Floor person to ensure proper guest servicing.
• Promote responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service; notify managers of concerns.
