Qualifications

• Pervious critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages and triages poison cases/exposures.
• Assesses the severity of the exposure and identifies toxic substances.
• Calculates the amount ingested and relates it to the toxic level of the substance.
• Determines appropriate treatment and recommends home or medical care in ED or other facilities.
• Provides poison information to health professionals and the public.
• Completes documentation and follow-up for each exposure case.
