Job summary

Baystate Franklin Medical Center seeks a Point of Care Coordinator to lead POCT operations across our network. The role reports to the POCT Laboratory leadership and supports nursing and clinical staff with testing policies and procedures.

Located in Greenfield, MA, this 24-hour weekly, first-shift position requires a 5-year laboratory background and an ASCP-aligned workflow. A strong teamwork ethic and attention to regulatory standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a laboratory or health-related field.
• 5 years of laboratory experience.
• Experience with point-of-care testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight for Point of Care testing across Baystate facilities.
• Coordinate training and competency assessments for staff.
• Travel to each site at least semi-annually.
• Maintain and update laboratory policies and procedures.
• Ensure testing quality and regulatory compliance.
