Job summary

Bronson Healthcare in Paw Paw, MI is hiring for a MLS - Lab Point of Care on the first shift (6:00am-2:30pm). The role conducts diagnostic testing, handles QA/ QC, and supports point-of-care operations with training and instrument maintenance.

Candidates must show NAACLS MLS education and MLS eligibility or certification. A two-year MLS experience is preferred, with shift flexibility as needed for patient care.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an NAACLS accredited MLS/Medical Technology program.
• Graduate with a bachelor’s degree in MLS/related field within 60 days of hire.
• MLS/MLT certificate with required internship or certificate program.
• ASCP/AMT MLS eligibility or certification required.
• Foreign educated candidates need US equivalency evaluation; visa not sponsored.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic/analytic testing on human specimens.
• Operate and maintain lab instruments; troubleshoot as needed.
• Participate in quality control and QA procedures.
• Prepare, validate and report lab results per dept. guidelines.
• Provide training and support for point-of-care testing personnel.
