Job summary

The candidate must have a BS in Medical Technology, NYS licensure, and substantial lab experience, with strong analytical and technical skills to support QA and process improvements.

Qualifications

• BS in Medical Technology and 4 years clinical laboratory experience.
• NYS Education Department Clinical Laboratory Technologist license required.
• Analytical skills to analyze data and perform calculations.
• Strong computer fundamentals and laboratory information systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists in formulating and implementing organizational goals in the lab.
• Oversees POCT testing and ensures adherence to protocols.
• Coordinates instrument troubleshooting with manufacturers or engineers.
• Maintains documentation and quality control data for QA purposes.
• Supports PI projects and quality improvement initiatives.
